19th July 2005 Windsurfing: Golf Course Car park, Ynyslas Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: 18-25 knots Surf / Sea State: 2 foot messy surf Air Temperature: 14ºC Sea Temperature: 17ºC Weather: Sunny spells Max Speed: 23.8 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 18.2 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Started off early this morning with a quick blast well powered up in 25 knot winds with my 5m sail and little wave board. Then the wind eased a little around 8am so I went back out with Tim and Paul (who were kitesurfing) with my 5.7m and bigger board. Styaed out longer this time well powered up and having a whale of a time in amongst the rollers. Blasted across to Graveyards a few times and off towards Borth as well. Snapped a harness line in the end so decided to go home and do some work instead... Hopefully the wind will last for another session later today though. |
